We have some incredible projects to show you today. What we are MOST excited about is having the talented Dena Plummer Rekow hopping along with us. We first met Dena in Hawaii last year. Dena's projects are always amazing and striking - she has such a bold and individual style and you will love checking out all of her back-projects.

Inspiration

The theme of this Blog Hop is 'Case the Designer ..... DENA REKOW!' Here is the card of his that I have chosen to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit);

My Card

Here is the card I ended up with;

You can identify the main elements from the original card. The diagonal lines on Dena's card were on the bottom - I was hoping for it to look like wallpaper. I used a sheet from the designer series paper stack and cut into strips and mounted them in a zig-zag pattern. I dreamed of this one night and I got up out of bed and made this pattern.

I stamped the image twice (once So Saffron and once Basic Grey) and 'fussy-cut' and mounted using dimensionals. It was not a fun job. lol

How cool is the spoon? I haven't used it before.

One thing I forgot to mention - the colours were cased from an earlier card I had made. Every day I go onto Pinterest, this card gets pinned again and again.

What do you think of this case?

So, sadly, both the Stamp Set and the Framelit kit are retiring. This has been VERY popular and you will want to get it before its gone forever. I have links to buy them now below as well as some information about the retiring list.
