Global Design Project - This week I PICKED THE COLOURS!!! #GDP029

7:55:00 PM

A few weeks ago, Kylie asked me what I thought of a certain colour combination that she was going to present to the rest of the Global Design Project team. Honestly, I wasn't really a fan (but don't tell her I said that). Diplomatically, I said 'How about these three instead?'

And, a few weeks later, here we are because those colours I suggested ended up being the inspiration for this weeks GDP challenge. And, whats more, as a result of my input, I have been permitted to be a guest design team member this week. So, here we go - here is the inspiration for the week;

What do you think of the colours? I hope you like them! Id love to see what you come up with so make sure you head on over to the Global Design Project home page and check out all of the awesome projects by the permanent design team members for inspiration and then, you can add your creation using these colours to the link tool on the post. Sound Good?

Now, after all those words - do you want to see the project I made?

Any ideas who this is based on? Well, its 'loosely' based on the children character named 'Hoot' from 'Giggle and Hoot.' The more I look at it, the more I think it looks like another strange blue animal. Hahaha!!!

I used my fave stamp set at the moment - Playful Pals. I really love it! I love the coordinating framelits as well (Pyramid Pals). Do you have this set? If not, would you like a chance to win it? Check out the SPECIAL OFFER below.

The sentiment is from the Bravo Photopolymer Set and it is white-embossed on Early Espresso. I then cut out using a framelit from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits Dies.

The clouds are from the Cupcake Builder punch. I also added some linen thread to make out like 'Hoot' is sitting on a power line.

Don't forget to check out the projects at the Global Design Project home page and enter your own creation using the link tool - I can't wait to see what you come up with using these colours.
